That Other Landscape

'That Other Landscape' is a rare collaboration illustrating the landscape of Scotland and beyond, through each of the photographers’ distinct viewpoints.

Dylan Nardini, David Queenan and Grant Bulloch have all emerged into the photography scene with their own distinct styles and interpretations of both the intimate and wider landscapes of Scotland. Heavily influenced by their own distinct localities, they have curated a unique perspective of Scotland’s scenery, albeit with brief forays into the north of England and even Iceland, all seen through their own individual observations. Their work ranges from the iconic grand vistas of the mountain landscapes with snow bound hills, unexpected ethereal light and clearing storms, to the detailed minutiae found in the outdoor environment – fallen leaves, lone trees, cherry blossom and even a spot of rust on the hull of a yacht. Vivid colours are juxtaposed with the muted tones of nature’s palette.
The images are nearly all printed by the photographers themselves, using a variety of archival papers supplied by Fotospeed who have kindly supported the exhibition, ensuring the prints will last for decades to come without fading or deteriorating, allowing the photographs to maintain their vibrant colours for a very long time.

'That Other Landscape’ comes to the Highlands and opens at Eleven41 Gallery, Kingussie, on the 28th of June 2024 at 6:30pm with a two week run.
Dates: 28th June to 14th July 2024
